Registration Now Open for Third Session of FREE Year-long Series

Nashville, Tenn. (June 7, 2021) — Les Dames d’Escoffier (LDEI) Nashville presents “Launching Your Food Business” on Friday, June 18 - the third installment of its FREE year-long educational workshop series “Sustain & Flourish in Adversity.” Registration is now open for the one-hour webinar which will feature advice and insight from LDEI Nashville members and successful business leaders, including Cordia Harrington, Founder & CEO at The Bakery Cos.; Carey Aron, Founder & President of The Pasta Shoppe, and Bailey Spaulding, CEO & Founder of Jackalope Brewing Company; and moderated by author & writer Jennifer Justus.

 

This year-long educational workshop series by and for women in food, beverage, hospitality and farming is made possible through a grant from The Women’s Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and will include five one-hour topical discussions featuring industry experts and members representing all facets of the hospitality industry. 

 

The one-hour informational session, held virtually via Zoom, will provide an opportunity for engagement and discussion with the panelists and take-away materials will be provided to each attendee. While the event is free and open to the general public, registration for each session is required. In partnership with Nashville Restaurant Radio, a recap of each session will be made available as a podcast. The first two sessions, “Redefining and Refining Hospitality” and “Restaurant Invention and Reinvention” are available now.

ABOUT THE NASHVILLE CHAPTER OF LES DAMES D’ESCOFFIER

Les Dames Nashville is a local chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International (LDEI), a network of professional women in food, beverage, hospitality, and farming who are passionate about supporting women in those fields. Through our events, we raise money to fund our career advancement grants and scholarships, while furthering education and appreciation of our industry. Established in 2014, the chapter now includes 77 members.
