TALLU SCHUYLER QUINN LEGACY OF HOPE AWARD
We are thrilled to expand our community support this year with the addition of the Tallu Schuyler Quinn Legacy of Hope Award for those who are working to change lives in the areas of food justice, food sustainability and food security. New for 2022, the Tallu Schuyler Quinn Legacy of Hope Award honors the memory of beloved longtime Dame Tallu Schuyler Quinn. Tallu embodied the mission of Grow, Cook and Share in both her work at The Nashville Food Project, which she founded in 2011, and in her everyday life. Her love of cultivating community through the most basic right and gift of food dismantled barriers in food security. Not only does this award honor and celebrate Tallu’s life, it continues her legacy: supporting women committed to changing lives through food, community and hospitality. The Legacy of Hope Award of $2,500 will help sow needed funds to women in Middle Tennessee who are working to change lives in the areas of food justice, food sustainability and food security.
